Jay Lively, a resident of the Town of Falmouth for twenty-five years, is the founder and owner of Rent-A-Son®.
Rent-A-Son® is a full service Property & Estate Management firm that focuses on providing prompt, personalized service to a growing list of clients. Jay, with more than 15 years experience in property management, founded Rent-A-Son® in 2000. An earlier client inspired the name of the company because he had no children of his own and would joke that Jay was his adopted son.
Rent-A-Son® provides a full suite of services to homeowners, condo associations, apartment buildings, and commercial properties. Services, which are custom designed for each client, include:

Rent-A-Son® has a full compliment of trucks, trailers, and other equipment available to ensure a prompt, professional job every time. Rent-A-Son® is widely regarded for its attention to meticulous service, which is why Jay received the Business Person of the Year Award (2005) from the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce and SCORE.
Jay attended Falmouth High School, where he was a member of many student organizations, captain of two varsity teams, and president of his lass ('94) in each of his four years. In Jay's senior year the Falmouth Rotary Club, North Falmouth Village Association, and the Professional Women of Falmouth recognized him, with awards and scholarships for his academic and extra curricular activity during his years at FHS.
Jay graduated from Bates College with a B.A. and majors in both Biology and American Studies. Selected by the Dean, Jay served as a residential coordinator for his junior and senior years to supervise underclassmen in four dormitories. Jay also was selected by the Admissions Office as tour guide coordinator for campus tours and orientations. While serving as captain of the Bates Lacrosse Team, Jay also volunteered on the campus medical response unit. Upon graduation, he relocated to Pittsburgh and worked as an EMT, earning his paramedic license after a year's time for the city of Pittsburgh.
Jay who resides in East Falmouth, is an active member of the community, serving on two committees for the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the Falmouth Rotary Club, and as being a member / Brother of the Marine Mason Lodge in Falmouth.
