Interior Painting

Painting interior areas, whether simply freshening up one room, or painting the entire interior, is one of the most cost-effective ways of redecorating and adding new life to your home. Your choice of a painting contractor can make all the difference.

We approach each project in a meticulous manner, ensuring that both the process and the final product are performed in a manner that meets or exceeds your expectations.

Setup

Rent A Son carefully plans each project with the homeowner, including scheduling to coincide with individual needs. Large furniture is moved to the center of each room, and each room is documented with layouts and photos. Wall and ceiling fixtures are removed, and furniture is covered and protected with plastic. Floors are covered with drop cloths.

For those homeowners who wish to take advantage of it, we provide access to a professional who specializes in color matching and selection (based on your goals, fabrics, textures and interior themes).

Preparation

We thoroughly prepare the areas to be painted. Walls are scuffed and / or sanded. Holes and cracks in walls are filled. Stains, including watermarks, are sealed. Where necessary, we will take the extra step of washing to ensure that the outcome is beautiful.

Paint

The choice of paint products, their respective composition, and the manner with which they are applied are vital to a wonderful finished product. We prefer to use Benjamin Moore, Sherman Williams, or Cabot's products, as we find these manufactures to be among the best.

Our choice of oil or latex paints depends upon the specific project.

Clean-Up

Once painting is completed, furniture is moved back to its original position. Wall and ceiling fixtures are replaced. Floors and carpets are thoroughly vacuumed and swept, and all supplies and materials are removed.

Knowing that accidents sometimes happen, touch up paint is labeled, by room, and left for future use.

Inspection

Before our crew packs up their equipment, the professionals at Rent-A-Son complete a full inspection of the areas painting to certain that all surfaces have been painted properly. Final touch-ups are noted on our Quality Checklist, and are completed before the crew leaves.
